A Fun and Educational Field Trip for Sedaqat & Danish Students

With the combined efforts of our dedicated teachers and supportive parents, the students of Sedaqat & Danish Educational Center had the opportunity to embark on an exciting field trip. They visited some of Kabul’s most iconic sites: the Kabul Zoo, the National Museum, and the breathtaking Babur Garden.

Throughout the day, the students not only explored the wonders of nature and history but also had an amazing time filled with fun and laughter. It was an enriching experience for everyone involved, as they connected with both their surroundings and each other.

Such activities are a vital part of our educational philosophy, where we believe that learning extends beyond the classroom. We look forward to organizing more events that combine education, exploration, and enjoyment for our students.

The celebration was filled with heartfelt speeches, gratitude, and appreciation for the efforts of our educators who continuously strive to empower the next generation through knowledge and wisdom. We also presented appreciation letters to our teachers as a token of recognition for their invaluable contributions to our mission.

We are grateful for their passion and commitment to shaping a brighter future for Afghanistan. Thank you, teachers, for being the guiding light in our journey of education and empowerment!

Carpets & Foam Mats for Four Classrooms of a Girls' School

Respected Ahmad Shah Fazel, a family member of Nader Jan Omar, generously provided $300 to assist deserving schools. As part of my responsibility, I purchased carpets and foam mats for four classrooms of a girls' school that previously lacked proper flooring. The students are now benefiting from this contribution. I wanted to share this report with you all! Special thanks to Ahmad Shah Fazel and Nader Jan Omar for facilitating this support!

Eid- al- Adha Program

In celebration of Eid- al- Adha, sweets were distributed among students of Sedaqat education center. In the meantime, students who completed the first level of English language arts class received their certificates of completion. This is awesome and seeing the happiness in children’s faces is priceless. In my opinion, this is the best kind of Qurbani and Huj. Eid Mubarak and Huj and Qurbani qabool!

What Are We Doing?

Action Not Words

Action Not Words lives up to its namesake by directing every cent collected directly to children and families in Afghanistan. We provide essential aid such as school supplies, technology, clothing, and food for students, along with upgraded infrastructure. This year, we constructed a modern library from the ground up for an elementary school of 1,200 students in Kabul. With the support of our members, we furnished the new library with computers, televisions, and a vast collection of books. Addressing the country's energy crisis, our organization installed solar panels at the school as an eco-friendly alternative to the diesel generators commonly used in Kabul. Recently, we also assisted students' families through the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition to donating food and clothing to struggling families, we partnered with local small businesses to provide face masks for every student.
